Not So "Mile High" At JFK


Pilots at New York's JFK airport had to brake for Diamond Back Terrapin Turtles on their annual booty call to reproduce.  Good thing that the pilot was conscientious enough to "ask the question" of the control tower when he spotted the parade of paramours crossing the tarmac.  The turtle's journey to their love nests on the sandy banks along the bay caused the shutdown of a runway for more than an hour.
