Paws For A Cause With Yoga

Hi-Tor Animal Care Center is gearing up for their next cause for paws - Yoga Love For Shelter Pets.  In partnership with Sanctuary Yoga Studios and Manduka Yoga Mats, the Hi-Tor Animal Care Center Winter Charity Event is scheduled for February 12, 2011 - just in time for Valentine's Day.  Score some major points with your loved one and for some homeless pets...sign up yourself & your sweetheart for this event.

Join the volunteers of HiTor Animal Shelter, yoga teacher Ashley DiMeglio  and 3 other esteemed teachers of Sanctuary Yoga Studios and representatives of Manduka Yoga Mats for a healthy, harmonious and rejuvenating yoga class! A welcoming studio filled with yoga, friendship, & healing love for animals that are waiting for their future mom & dad, sisters & brothers to adopt them. 

Program will include
-A 90 minute All Levels Yoga Class
-Four of Rockland Counties' Best Yoga Teachers
-Raffle prizes from Manduka, Starbucks and other local businesses
-Something Sweet because you are too!

In addition to bringing yourself and your sweetie, please bring a shelter item with you to donate along with $25 cash or a check made out to Hi-Tor.  100% of proceeds go to the shelter. Look in your closets for blankets you don't use. Maybe you have a pet that has way too many toys, litter, or pet food.

  1. That sounds like a great class, yoga and dogs. And the benefit to the shelter is wonderful. I'm going to do that at my 50th Birthday party too.
